In 2018 I retired from a 34-year career as a professional editorial and commercial photographer. Fulfilling a lifelong dream, my wife Dianne and I sold everything and left in an RV. We now just ride around our great nation in a 43' RV I named niRVana. On the same day I retired my photography business I also retired from a 30-year career in the United States Navy as a Master Chief Mass Communication Specialist, retiring out of the Reserves. The Navy sent me all over the world. Among many career highlights was a ride on a nuclear submarine to the North Pole and a very interesting year in Afghanistan. 2022 is the start of our fifth year full-timing in an RV. This summer we tour the Canadian Maritime provinces for two months then winter in Florida. This website is mostly a retrospective of my career as a professional photographer. But with niRVana I have found a way to combine my twin loves of travel and photography. I strive to shoot photos that people like to see. Enjoy!
